Congratulations to Hogarth Academy following their recent Ofsted inspection (19th and 20th May 2015). The school, which was requires improvement, was judged by Ofsted to be good in all areas. This fantastic achievement has been made possible because of the commitment and dedication of the staff at Hogarth and that of the Executive Headteacher, Ruth Ellis, and the senior leadership team. Hogarth has also recently been working in partnership with The Glapton Academy. The support that has been provided by the staff at Glapton has been another key factor in ensuring this great outcome for Hogarth.
The report highlights the prompt action taken by the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust to improve teaching and standards. It also commends the team spirit between staff, the excellent behaviour of the children and the positive relationship the academy has with parents. Hogarth is now ready for the next challenge of becoming an outstanding school.
