Huntingdon Academy Achieves Teaching School Status

10th May 2012

Huntingdon Academy has recently been successful in its application to become a designated Teaching School.  As a Teaching School, it will be responsible for leading a group of schools and working with other partners, such as universities, to deliver high quality support for teachers and leaders at all stages of their career.

This group of schools will be known as the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust Teaching School Alliance.  It is a great honour to be awarded Teaching School status and will help to ensure that there will be high quality training to suit the needs of children in our communities.
