L.E.A.D. Academy Trust Expands with Three New Schools

11th October 2012

The LEAD Academy Trust welcomes three new school members, including its first school from outside Nottingham.

Warren Primary Academy in Top Valley, Nottingham joined L.E.A.D. Academy Trust in September and Millfield Community Primary School in Braunstone, Leicestershire will join on the 1st December.  Windmill Primary and Nursery School, also based in Nottingham, will join on the 1st January 2013.

Warren Primary Academy, rated by Ofsted as a good school with many outstanding features, is very highly regarded by its local community.

Windmill and Millfield are working hard to improve teaching, learning and attainment and will be supported towards that goal through the L.E.A.D. Multi Academy Trust.

Chief Executive of L.E.A.D. Diana Owen said: “We are delighted to welcome Warren, Millfield and Windmill to our family of schools and also to have the opportunity to extend our impact further afield. Shared values, aspirations, standards and commitment to strong leadership will help us to focus on what is most important: supporting one another to give all our children a consistently exceptional standard of education.”
