Job description:

Jubilee L.E.A.D. Academy is a friendly and inclusive school, seeking a dynamic class teacher who will lead Key Stage 1.

The children at Jubilee L.E.A.D. Academy deserve the very best teachers. Not just outstanding practitioners in the classroom, but bright, talented individuals who are passionate about education. This is your chance to put your career on the fast track.

Working in partnership with other school leaders, you will have enthusiasm and the drive to help the school achieve its aspiration, which is to become a first choice community school.

This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher who is looking to make their move into middle leadership.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is able to demonstrate excellent teaching and has an exemplary record of primary classroom practice;
  • has a track record of successfully raising standards and ensuring all pupil groups make good progress;
  • has the drive, determination and enthusiasm to enhance the high level of learning in our school;
  • possesses excellent organisational and communication skills, demonstrates attention to detail and has the ability to motivate and support colleagues;
  • will be a significant and visible presence around the school;
  • can think strategically and act practically to promote school improvement;
  • has a commitment to working in partnership alongside parents and the local community.

We can offer you:

  • children who love their school and enjoy learning;
  • a dedicated team of professional and enthusiastic colleagues;
  • committed and supportive governors and parents;
  • a stimulating and well-resourced learning environment
  • opportunities for professional development.

Jubilee L.E.A.D. Academy is part of the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, therefore in addition to local level benefits, the successful candidate will also have:

  • accelerated and supported career progression;
  • a role that bridges the gap between strategy and practice;
  • support through a comprehensive professional development programme;
  • access to Perk Box, our staff rewards and benefits scheme, which includes discounted cinema trips and meals out;
  • reassurance that you are joining a recognised and established Trust; we were recently described by the Department for Education as ‘one of the strongest sponsors operating in the East Midlands, with a track record of successfully improving underperforming schools’.

Closing Date: Friday 29th April 2016 at noon.

Interviews will take place the following week.

If you are in the teaching profession because you genuinely want to support the development of our next generation, Jubilee would love to hear from you.
