Windmill L.E.A.D. Academy is a vibrant inner city school that was graded ‘Good’ in its last Ofsted inspection in January 2015. The changes at senior leadership have ensured that the school has embarked on a new era with great positivity and determination to move the school forward. Windmill is a vibrant inner city school with a dedicated team who are working tirelessly to improve the outcomes of children.
The school is undergoing a huge refurbishment plan which will see a complete remodelling of the front of the school and improvement of the teaching facilities. The school benefits immensely from being a member of a very forward looking and inclusive Trust where children can take part in STEM days, Bushcraft experiences and performing arts days which bring schools across the Trust together. Teachers throughout the Trust work in partnership and benefit from many CPD opportunities and networks.
