Job description:

The L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, based in Nottingham, is seeking to appoint a Director of L.E.A.D. Services to lead on the development of our national and international range of educational services.

This role would suit a dynamic, forward thinking and entrepreneurial individual with a successful track record in school improvement.

The successful candidate will lead the strategic development of L.E.A.D. Services and also provide school improvement support to the schools within the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust.  The initial priority for the successful candidate will be to develop and deliver a range of school improvement packages leading to a full suite of educational services by 2016, as well as supporting newly sponsored academies with school improvement.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced, qualified professional with drive, ability and imagination who wants to make a real and direct impact upon children’s learning.

We are looking for someone who:-

  • is an outstanding practitioner who can raise standards with proven experience of accelerating progress;
  • is experienced in building professional partnerships and relationships in the educational sector, seeking opportunities for business diversification and growth;
  • is an inspirational leader that can lead by example;
  • is experienced at headship level and/or school senior management experience together with senior leadership experience in a local authority or national body;
  • has proven experience of whole school leadership and the ability to communicate a clear vision for school improvement;
  • is an outstanding team player;
  • has the ability to work as part of a forward looking strategic leadership team.
