The L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, based in Nottingham, is seeking to appoint an experienced, successful and knowledgeable school governor as Director of Governance to promote and develop the role of governance in our schools.
The role will include: monitoring the effectiveness of governance in each school; involvement in governor inductions, training and development; supporting governors in monitoring school progress against targets; and ensuring consistency of governance across the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust.
This post would be suitable for someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and an understanding of the current educational climate.
This post is part-time (up to 40 days each academic year) for a fixed term of one year. Applications are welcome for direct employment by the Trust or on a consultancy basis. The successful candidate will be expected to provide professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
