We are looking for a Finance Assistant to support the Central Finance Function. The role is based at our Head Office on the Ropewalk in Nottingham. We are flexible with regards to hours and would consider applications from anyone wishing to work between 25 and 37 hours per week, though this would need to be over at least 4 days.


Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to the finance team.
  • Supporting schools to ensure monthly control account reconciliations are completed.
  • Data Entry for monthly recharges/GAG/VAT etc.
  • Monitoring the finance email account and to assist with the appropriate actions to resolve queries.
  • Collation of monthly reports from schools in line with the Trust policies.


To be successful, you will have:

  • High level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office programs particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • GCSE (grade A* - C), or equivalent, in English and Maths.
  • Previous experience of a role in finance.
  • The ability to work independently & use own initiative.
