Glapton Primary Academy is looking to appoint a permanent and full-time year round Finance Manager from September 2017. Due to our expansion we require someone with the tenacity and drive to support school improvement and financial efficiencies for our future. 

Our preferred candidate will be organised, demonstrate the ability to work independently and have the skills to manage a small administrative team. The role will include providing specialist financial support and advice to the senior management team and Academy Trust. Contribution to the planning, development and monitoring of support services within school and being responsible for the provision of an efficient/effective school administrative/support service including supervision and deployment of support staff.  

We are looking for someone who has appropriate financial or business experience, knowledge about, and/or experience of school finance and school office systems.

So, we need someone with a sense of humour, excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to become involved in the overall life of our school.
