As an experienced and self-motivated health & safety professional, you will partner the Board and play a key role in ensuring a safe workplace environment for the Trust to help us achieve this.
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for championing the Trust’s statutory obligations via the provision of training, regular policy review, inspections and reporting. You will bring a ‘hands on’ and commercially focussed approach to maintaining and developing L.E.A.D.’s approach to the safety of our employees and pupils both on our sites and off site trips. You will also be pivotal in securing and developing a client base across the region to grow the health and safety services and capacity within the Trust.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to constructively challenge senior stakeholders, with a successful track record of providing competent risk focused Health, Safety and Environmental advice, ideally previously within a Local Government, Education, Social Housing or Facilities Management sector.
