Procurement and Contracts Manager
Salary: £ 27,905 - 32,878 (Dependant on experience)
Location: The Ropewalk Nottingham
Hours: Full or part time (Min 21.5 hours). 52 weeks or term time only.

Ensuring value for money, good quality services and resources across our 25 academies is a constant priority for our Trust. The landscape for school funding coupled with our commitment to deliver educational excellence to the communities our schools are part of, places a great importance upon central functions such as procurement. This role has a strong voice within our Trust, and the post holder is given freedom to explore cost saving and quality improvement driven initiatives.
Working within the public arena, whilst applying commercial acumen, this role will review current contracts, prepare tender documentation and coordinate the evaluation of proposals and bids. We have robust systems in place which this role will use and develop further.
Working with a range of suppliers and internal stakeholders the successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and negotiation skills alongside the knowledge to ensure the procurement process is fully compliant.
This role is based at our Head Office, alongside other central services such as Estates and Premises Management, HR and Finance. Our office is mostly open plan which enables good communication across the functions and provides a good working environment. The successful applicant will frequently meet with suppliers and collaborate with schools; therefore access to a vehicle is essential.
