The governors of St Ann’s Well Academy are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to teach our Year 6 class from January 2013

St Ann’s Well Academy is an exciting, inner-city primary school dedicated to improving the life-chances of all its children.

St Ann’s Well Academy is part of the L.E.A.D Teaching School Alliance and, as such, a high level of school to school support is available to further staff development.


We are currently in the process of re-structuring our responsibilities and a TLR may be available for an outstanding candidate for this post.


As part of our commitment to personalising learning and challenging every child to reach the highest possible standards, we employ specialist intervention teachers for Literacy and Numeracy in order to run target groups. This results in small group size allowing more targeted teaching. Group size in Literacy and Numeracy for the current Y6 cohort is 11.


All staff benefit from the availability of free private health care as part of the package offered by the L.E.A.D Academy Trust.


Our Governors have chosen to pay Nottingham City’s Workplace Parking Levy Charge on behalf of our employees.
