This year’s Christmas meals across the trust were supported by lead sponsors Relish School Food and Sentinel Procurement Solutions. Further contributions have been made by PLMR Ltd, ESP, Tanbry Construction, CP Associates, Denton Nickels (UK) Ltd, LGE Electrical and The Supply Register who helped the Trust provide meals in every participating school.
Emily Smithurst, Headteacher at St Ann’s Well Academy, said:
“Each year, this meal brings our school together in a really meaningful way. Pupils enjoy their Christmas meal together, complete with crackers, Christmas hats, decorations and Christmas music. We are very grateful to our sponsors for helping us make the day so special.”
“This is our third year supporting the Christmas meal initiative, and we’ve been working with L.E.A.D. Academy Trust for 13 years now. We recognise how important it is for businesses to support days like this so we can give something back to the children.”
“We’re all about giving children good, nutritious food, but also those little extras that help create memories. It’s lovely being here and seeing the children. Being able to give something back, especially as a local business supporting local kids, is such a great opportunity. It’s all about spreading a bit of magic and Christmas love.”
“We value initiatives that strengthen local communities, and it is clear how much care goes into making this meal memorable. Supporting L.E.A.D. Academy Trust in hosting such a positive and uplifting event has been a real pleasure.”
“Providing a Christmas meal across our schools is a simple gesture that has a big impact. It gives pupils a chance to share in a positive and memorable experience at the end of term, and it brings school communities together in a way that feels very special. We are grateful to all of the sponsors whose support helps us make this possible each year.”
